What's On

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience

Basil, Sybil and Manuel are touring Australian again this summer, taking in five incredible venues as they also pop up at FRINGE WORLD Perth, Adelaide Fringe and Sydney Opera House.

Picking up 5-star reviews and selling out everywhere it goes, this globe-trotting show is ‘definitely worth getting off the couch for’ (Stage Whispers, Melbourne International Comedy Festival).

Chaos and laughter reign right from the start as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a 3-course meal in two hours of mayhem where the audience become diners in the Faulty restaurant. This totally immersive show is 70% improvised, so no two performances are ever the same. It’s a true blend of ingenious comedy and unique theatrical script, creating a multi-sensory experience that’s perfect for comedy fans, theatre fans, and anyone who just fancies going out for a meal they’ll never forget.

This internationally acclaimed tribute to the BBC’s best-loved sitcom was born in Australia in 1997. This Australia tour kicks off another jam-packed year with appearances in around 20 countries that also include return visits to Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, plus tours of Europe, Scandinavia, the Caribbean and Singapore. It also continues in London’s West End, where it’s been running since 2012 and holds the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for three years running.

- ‘The characterisations here are flawless, and I mean flawless’ The Advertiser, Adelaide Fringe 2017
