An epic digital spectacular worthy of any pharaoh

Opera Australia’s spectacular digital production, Aida, returns to the Sydney Opera House to kick off their 2021 winter season. Celebrated Italian director and choreographer Davide Livermore utilises ten towering LED screens as floor-to-ceiling set pieces to create an immersive theatrical experience and convey the depth and magnificence demanded by this monumental opera.

American soprano Leah Crocetto leads an all-star cast that includes Elena Gabouri, reprising her role as Amneris, Stefano La Colla and Najmiddin Mavlyanov in their OA debuts, sharing the role of Radamès, Warwick Fyfe and Michael Honeyman as Amonasro and Daniel Sumegi and David Parkin playing Ramfis.
