DEADHOUSE: Tales of Sydney Morgue 2019

DEADHOUSE Tales of Sydney Morgue Season 2 is alive!

Blancmange Productions is thrilled to bring DEADHOUSE: Tales of Sydney Morgue immersive theatre experience back to our wonderful audiences for a second season. This season's venue is The Crypt, located beneath St James' Church in Sydney's CBD. A beautiful, historical setting in which to breathe life into the stories of Sydney's dark past.

These immersive dark tales of true Australian crimes are awakening in the Crypt Under St James' Church, on Wednesday 23 October only to be buried again Saturday 30 November.

Over the first three weeks we're reprising the very popular tale of Louisa Collins: A Poison Crown by Gina Schien. Set in 1888-89 it is the story of a woman accused of murder, tried four times with all male juries, found guilty and hanged in Darlinghurst Gaol in 1889. But was she guilty?

After a week's rest we open with a brand new tale of the escape of Simmonds & Newcombe: The Deadly Run by Liviu Monsted. This was the biggest police hunt of escapees in NSW history. A drama loaded with comedy and violence. But do they survive?

This true crime immersive theatre is lovingly and thoughtfully stitched together by a team of 15 actors, plus 15 creatives and crew.

2018 Season 1 sold out quickly, so book now!
