Spiegeltent Wollongong 2019

Lano & Woodley, Judith Lucy, Tom Gleeson, Archie Roach, Joan as Police Woman and more are coming to The Spiegeltent this April and May. After delighting audiences in 2017 and 2018, The Spiegeltent returns again to the Wollongong Arts Precinct for another month of cabaret, circus, comedy, theatre and family fun from Thursday 11th April to Sunday 5th May, 2019.

Headlining the Spiegeltent Wollongong season will be the NSW premiere of Deluxe Deluxe, a saucy new show from the award-winning creators of LIMBO that enthralled audiences at The Spiegeltent last year. Deluxe Deluxe is a seductive and side-splittingly funny adults-only night out that features the glitterati of international circus and cabaret talent. Hosted by the formidable and world-famous Scot Nery (Tonight Show, HBO Comedy Festival), the outrageously silly and sexy fun to be had at Deluxe Deluxe makes it a show not to be missed.

The Spiegeltent’s musical program will not disappoint, with some of the world’s most exciting musical acts taking to the spotlight. Gracing the Spiegeltent’s stunning stage in 2019 will be the moving music of enigmatic ARIA-nominee Mojo Juju and the thrilling Joan as Police Woman in her first Australian tour since 2014. For ANZAC day, Spiegeltent audiences will be treated to the masterful sounds of one of Australia’s living musical legends: Archie Roach.

Ensuring there is something for the whole family, Spiegeltent Wollongong will also present an incredible family-friendly show, the high-energy, wacky fun of Wolfgang's Magical Musical Circus. The young and young at heart alike will be spellbound by the spectacular blend of circus thrills with musical mayhem to tell the story of classical music's favourite child prodigy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Spiegeltent will also play host to an incredible line up of internationally renowned comedians Dave Hughes, Judith Lucy, Tom Gleeson, Paul Foot, Tommy Little, Joel Creasey and the new show, Fly, from homegrown comedic legends Lano & Woodley. Other acts in the Spiegeltent Wollongong 2019 season include hilarious stories from writer, filmmaker and author John Safran, and flawless cabaret from Australian icon and Queen of the Cross, Carlotta.
