Coady Green and Justin Kenealy unite as Duo Eclettico

Australian chamber musicians Coady Green and Justin Kenealy will perform together as Duo Eclettico at Hawthorn Arts Centre on Friday 6 August, bringing a vibrant, virtuosic program of classical music, with a strong focus on works by Australian composers, many written especially for the duo.

Performing in the beautiful Chandelier Room at Hawthorn Arts Centre, audiences will enjoy a performance by Australia’s much-loved classical saxophone and piano duo.

The night will feature a preview of Linda Kouvaras’s Night Pieces: Reflections After COVID-19, ahead of its premiere at Melbourne Recital Centre in November; Australian works by Carmichael, Hammond, Greenbaum, Hindson and Poole; CPE Bach’s beautiful G minor Sonata, and Picnic on the Marne by Pulitzer Prize winning American genius Ned Rorem.

One of Australia’s most established concert pianists Coady Green has been described as a virtuoso pianist with sensitivity, intelligence, charm, and a strong and versatile technique. After receiving many prestigious awards in Australia, Coady relocated from Melbourne to London in 2005 where he was based for the following 11 years.

Musician, saxophonist and educator Justin Kenealy performs regularly with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria. He has graced stages as a soloist throughout Australia, France, the United States and China.

Together as Duo Eclettico, the pair will dazzle audiences with their classical sounds for a night of beautiful music at the historic Hawthorn Arts Centre.
