LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR

Following in the footsteps of Dame Nellie Melba and Joan Sutherland as one of just three Australians to sing the role on the hallowed La Scala stage, celebrated Australian soprano Jessica Pratt returns home to make her Sydney Opera House debut as the troubled Lucia. Taking on the vocally and emotionally challenging role of a woman on the edge of insanity, Pratt is joined on stage in this bloody production by dynamic American tenor Michael Fabiano who returns to Sydney after his Helpmann Award-winning performance in OA’s Faust (2015).

Venue: Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House
Dates: Thursday 28 June 2018 – Friday 27 July 2018
