TIME STANDS STILL

1 - 25 NOVEMBER

By Donald Margulies

Directed by Claudia Barrie

Produced by ECLIPSE Productions

The recently relocated Tap Gallery have invited innovative new theatre company Eclipse Productions to create a theatre experience of intimacy and immediacy with a new production of Time Stands Still written by the multi-award winning American playwright, Donald Margulies for a limited season this November. Walk up the stairs and into a New York City loft apartment. Take a seat and immerse yourself in another world as the play moves around you and the complexities of love, relationships and morality are unravelled.

The emotional tension is palpable from the start. Sarah a photojournalist and James a foreign correspondent, try to find happiness in a world that seems to have lost its path. Their partnership is based on telling the toughest stories in the hope of making a difference. But when their own story takes a sudden turn, guilt ridden James realises the adventurous couple must confront the prospect of a road less travelled.
