Ladyboner sounds like an irreverent show mostly about sex. Which it is, but it is also a deeply personal show about the conflict of growing up.

The range of talent displayed in every wildly different scene was impressive; we saw opera, Star Wars The Musical, different accents every 30 seconds, and the creation of the Horror-Western genre.

In Apocatypical the world as we know it is spontaneously destroyed during the middle of a turgid performance of an Elizabethan drama, leaving only one lousy actor and two highly disgruntled audience members alive.

The show is a riot of inspired silliness, perfectly suited for its late night timeslot. If it sounds like you need to have a degree in Renaissance Theatre Studies to get the jokes, you don't.
