David Gray AM, Chairman of Perth Theatre Company, yesterday announced
Melissa Cantwell’s appointment as Artistic Director. Melissa is
currently Associate Director at the Company, a position she has held
since Feburary 2007.
Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Directors Andrew Upton and Cate
Blanchett yesterday announced their first Main Stage Season for Sydney
Theatre Company, comprising 12 productions throughout 2009.

Coward Society to perform at the annual gala celebration of the life
and achievements of one of the theatre’s greatest legends Sir Noël
Coward in London this December.
Victoria’s state opera company, Victorian Opera, today announced that
its fourth season will be its biggest yet, with four mainstage operas
to be presented alongside a range of other opera concerts and
