The Spiegeltent Back in Melbourne Print E-mail
Sunday, 30 September 2007
The Famous Spiegeltent is back in town for her 7th consecutive Melbourne Season to lend this magnificent city some irresistible late night glamour and old world charm.

Quite the jet-setting enchantress, the tireless Famous Spiegeltent and her cast of characters have travelled to Sydney, Auckland, Montreal and Edinburgh this past year. Oh if those crimson walls could talk!

Luxuriate within her lush velvet canopy and be treated to some of the most spectacular shows in town. Forever the party girl, The Famous Spiegeltent will keep her glittering salon doors open until December with a fantastic program of events including the anticipated return of Spiegeltent International’s house show La Clique.

A huge program of comedy, music and cabaret by local and international artists including Lior, Kate Ceberano, Clare Bowditch, My Friend The Chocolate Cake, CW Stoneking, The Burlesque Hour, Topping & Butch, Lisa Miller, Deborah Conway, Sammy J & iOTA to name a few. There will also be entertainment for children, grown ups, children’s grown ups and grown ups’ children plus our ‘Weekend Afternoon Delights’ series featuring the cream of the crop of contemporary classical, chamber music and jazz. Look out for 'Famous Fashion Friday’s'.

Club Spiegel will again host the best Melbourne has to offer in the way of dance bands and DJs.

The Famous Spiegeltent Melbourne concert program will be available mid October.
