• I'm a journalist, commentator, media junkie, political wonk and culture vulture. Theatre is my weakness. I was a managing editor of industry titles at Brisbane-based Trader Business Media for five years before recently making the move to Melbourne as the Deputy Editor for current affairs rabble-rouser Crikey.com.au. My commentary has also been featured on New Matilda, ABC Unleashed, Online Opinion and in the Media Alliance’s Walkley Magazine, while blogging on media, arts and public policy at Importanceofideas.com. After reviewing Brisbane theatre for Australian Stage in 2009, I was invited onto the judging committee for the 2010 Matilda Awards for theatre excellence.
