Description

A mother and son on a fantasy trip to Disneyland, dwarfed in a world of giant teacups, oversized cartoons and overstuffed crowds. She turns away for a moment... and he is gone.
Distraught and helpless she waits; the smiling faces and theme song melodies sickly mingling with the menacing terror of real life monsters. Miraculously, seven hours later, he reappears.
Years later, they are still haunted by that day. He remains elusive to his friends, family, lover - hiding in the fleeting encounters of Sydney's gay club scene.
Then suddenly, he disappears again...
From the award-winning director and designer behind The Pillowman, and inspired by true events, this heartbreakingly beautiful story sings deep within the human realm where hurt and loss are just moments away.
How can you let go when holding on is all you have left?
