For Four Thursdays in August, the AAO will showcase a handful of its members alongside a selection of emerging musicians at Bennetts Lane Jazz Club, Melbourne. Hard Core on the fly is a platform for the collective to improvise from minimal written music. With a different line-up for each of the four performances, each event will be as unique as the players involved.

Improvisation is the guiding force of these events as the musicians entertain on the fly.
