Exploring the effects of long-term missing persons cases on family members and communities drawn from years of police investigations and research, The Disappearances Project looks at what happens to the ‘left-behind.’ Do they hope or do they grieve? How do they navigate their everyday existence? version 1.0 quietly traces the edges of this void, shedding light on the emotional journeys of those left behind.
