When I
spoke to Chris Kabay on the eve of the inaugural Young Artist’s Program cabaret show,
Green! Gold! and Musical!, he was strangely calm. Although it’s been a good
decade since my own ‘bump-in’ days, the bedlam that usually accompanies such
eves is not quickly forgotten. Clearly the first group of young performers is
pulling their weight.

come away at the end totally bowled over. This happened last Sunday (29
June) when I was invited to a single ‘fundraiser’ performance of Eve Ensler’s provocatively titled, The Vagina Monologues.
