Barking Spider Visual Theatre is a Melbourne-based non-profit puppetry and visual theatre company dedicated to promoting cross-art forms, challenging traditional theatre and appealing to diverse audiences across ages and cultures.
Formed in 2006, it has toured its first show "Hatch" to three major arts festivals in India, won a RE Ross Trust Playwrights Script Development Award for its second show "Dispatch" in 2007 and garnered excellent reviews for its third show "The Keeper", co-created with Chrissie Shaw, at Canberra's Street Theatre in 2008.
