			<description>Brad, thanks for this wonderful account!  Kurt fans like us are always delighted to hear more about his many gigs around the world.

Happily, we\'ve experienced this one at a distance via Bigpond\'s webcast.

You may be interested in two pieces of poetry that Kurt included.

First, the poem in the middle of \&quot;My Foolish Heart\&quot; in this performance was Kurt\'s adaptation of one by Rabi\'a of Basra, an 8th century Sufi mystic.  Previously, as you mentioned, he\'s used something from St. John of the Cross.  This newer version of \&quot;My Foolish Heart\&quot; opens most KEQ performances these days.

In Sydney, he also performed Chicago poet Marc Smith\'s \&quot;Something.\&quot;
