In the tradition of 'Short And Sweet' Defector Art Theatre presents Short But Not So Sweet.  10 plays by 10 Writers and 10 Directors with one thing in common, they are all a bit bent.



The 10 plays have been chosen from over 1000, for this hopefully, the first  Short But Not So Sweet festival.  The festival will be performed at Cromwell Road Theatre in South Yarra from July 16th to 19th.  So we require female and male actors of all shapes, sizes and ages.  If you like being in plays with a bit of meat then this festival is for you.



Auditions will be held at the Garden Studio, Gasworks Arts Park, 21 Graham St. Albert Park.  They will be held from 10am Saturday 10th of May.  If you are interested phone 03 93524332 to book a time (and get any questions answered) and send your resume to frankotis@hotmail.com  You will be required to perform a 2 minute audition piece of your choice.  The festival will be conducted the same as 'Short And Sweet' (except our plays will be heavier:) with awards given on the final night.  However at this stage we cannot offer any prize money as we are just getting started.
