Young Actors Studio 16-20 yrs
Auditions for Melbourne’s Young Actors Studio will be held in Melbourne 17 November 2007 and 3 February 2008.
This
year-long part-time course for 16-20 yrs will be running at The
Australian Ballet School in Melbourne in 2008 for the third year,
starting from 10 February. Young Actors Studio develops skills for
stage and screen, giving access to specialist tuition in a variety of
acting styles. Past graduate Rose Byrne already has an impressive
international career and recent graduate Lucinda Shaw has just won the
hotly contested lead role in the Australian production of Monty
Python’s Spamalot. With graduates like these it’s clear Young Actors
Studio is excellent pre-vocational training for committed young
performers Young
Actors Studio offers opportunities to work with other talented young
people in an ensemble whilst acquiring an understanding of professional
standards. The focus is practical with a final performance in a theatre
venue.
