CALL TO AUDITION
Cultural Infusion is seeking expressions of interest from Artists and Cultural presenters who are interested in being part of our dynamic National Schools program. Successful applicants will be required to audition for the national schools program.
‘Cultural Infusion Schools Program’ program is a live interactive, performance-based schools program that is seeking artists and cultural presenters who are able to work between Monday to Friday during school hours.
Cultural Infusion is the first nationally funded multicultural schools program in Australia and aims to promote cultural awareness through arts and cultural programs.
We are looking for artists for our 2009 programs.
Artists in our program include performers from many cultural backgrounds: Indigenous, Polynesian, Indonesian, Chinese, Anglo-Saxon Celtic, Japanese, Indian, Middle Eastern, African, Italian, Spanish, Russian, French, Celtic, German, Central and South American, Caribbean. All artists/groups are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to artists from a non-English speaking background.
Performers do not need to be based in a capital city.
Successful applicants may be required to undergo professional development provided by Cultural infusion.
Any applicants who are not currently accredited may be expected to undergo an accreditation process.
