A funny and inspiring tale about overcoming rejection
Troy Kinne and Tom Siegert are two of the hottest new stand-ups going. Sell-out shows in 2005 & 2006 have garnered them a loyal following that burgeons as their popularity as principals in the comedy team ‘Ear Candy’ grows.
“Always Remove the Lens Cap” is their dream (amongst others) to get a clip onto Australia’s Funniest Home Videos. Earlier attempts were politely but firmly rejected. Now they’ve hatched a scheme to get on, win and meet host Toni Pearen: another dream?
Their stand-up talents complement this foray into a more ambitious comedy work. Hard Rock were quick to invite the two to set up show in this exciting new comedy venue.
Troy and Tom both hurtled onto the comedy scene over the past two years have won (Troy) and placed second (Tom) nearly every Australian comedy competition they entered. Despite these results they remain the best of friends.
