 the space between is a powerful, physical exploration of the spaces between and within people. It is one of the most acclaimed productions of its era – a circus that is moving and emotionally charged.
Intimate yet physically intense and savagely lyrical.
Love, loss, the things that keep us apart and our desire to be together are portrayed through explosive acrobatic encounters and supple contortions.
The three characters deconstruct traditional circus skills including high-level tumbling and acrobatics. Increasing the intensity is the use of a single block of mats, the absence of traditional circus equipment and the use of a single light. A contemporary soundtrack and multimedia display completes the action.
