Preposterous, brutal, and not a little unsettling, The Black Lung Theatre are rapidly gaining a reputation as the new iconoclasts of Melbourne theatre, developing a significant cultish repertoire, and winning multiple awards from both the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals. Now, they will wreak havoc in their temporary abode/dwelling/hole/church created over three months for Malthouse Theatre.
From the bowels of their initial home above a bar in Collingwood, to the laneways of Melbourne and their award winning purpose-built Adelaide Fringe venue, The Black Lung Theatre have arrived to tear the Tower Theatre asunder with two memorable offerings.
