The Wind in the Willows Print

Sydney’s favourite family entertainment continues it’s well loved tradition of bringing the animals home to the Royal Botanic Gardens for summer.

There’s no better place to meet the infamous Toad of Toad Hall and his friends Ratty, Badger, Mole, Weasel and Otter than in the exquisite setting of Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens as Kenneth Grahame’s immortal story of life on the riverbank is brought to life.

This delightful promenade production has become a traditional summer event providing enchanting and lively family entertainment. There’s lots of audience participation for the young ‘wabbits’ who are encouraged to become involved in the action, given every opportunity to scream out loud, sing along and become part of the adventure. Costumes are wonderful and there’s fun for young and old.

This much loved tale of the riverbank folks’ madcap adventures has long been a family favourite and no wonder: the characters are unforgettable and the story is a gem so pack a picnic, pack the kids and enjoy a day out in the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens for this not to be missed children’s theatrical adventure.

6 to 31 January - Tuesday to Saturday at 11am and 6pm. Enter any gate and make your way to the harbour side of the Main Pond.
