Romeo & Juliet | Urban Myth Print
Urban Myth’s Romeo & Juliet promises to be one of the major highlights of the pre Christmas theatre season.  If you loved our Midsummer Night’s Dream in ’06, then R&J is going to blow you away! Artistic Director Glenn Hayden

Set during the Italian summer of 1946, Shakespeare’s timeless Poem of Youth will take over Urban Myth’s backyard. Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare’s masterful balance between comedy and tragedy, a picture of forbidden love in a world whose atmosphere is too sharp for such a tender thing.

‘…Hayden knows how to stage an event… the audience got a good show and a great spectacle into the bargain’. Matt Byrne from the Sunday Mail about A Midsummer Nights Dream 06’

Romeo & Juliet is a perfect beginning to the Christmas season - bringing family and friends together for the ultimate outdoor Shakespeare-ience!!!

Sit in the stand or bring your rug, and a picnic basket or indulge on the foods and wines available as we transform the Unley Village Green into an Italian Piazza.

WHEN: 4,5,6 DECEMBER 08
