remember escaping the former Soviet Union armed with a jar of coleslaw.
I encountered a Frank Zappa tribute band in Vilnius, as well as the
dissecting of a mud crab in Yalta. Confused, I decided to become a spy
and take notes in an attempt to define how it must feel to be Eastern
European.
