The Adventures of Butt Boy and Tigger
The big ticket for the boys and girls every year at Feast is the visit by possibly Australia’s only ongoing gay theatre company, Melbourne’s Out Cast Theatre. Coming direct from sell out crowds at this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Perth Pride, Steven Dawson’s disgraceful production of “Adventures of Butt Boy and Tigger” is about to hit Adelaide in all its wicked glory! Four and five star reviews across the board and nominated for the prestigious Fringe First Award and winner of The Scotsman’s 2008 “Filthiest Sex Scene Not Involving Nudity” Award, Out Cast Theatre is delighted to be giving Adelaide audiences the opportunity to enjoy this tasteless little treat.
An outrageously raunchy rollercoaster ride through the world of online chatting, where lines between fantasy and reality become blurred and things get out of hand in more ways than one! Two boys leap from one over the top underpants-bursting pornographic adventure to the next, until one asks the unthinkable... "Can we meet?"
…A laugh out loud but ultimately moving story of two strangers looking for a different way to connect… “If you see nothing else, see this!” Broadwaybaby.com
“…brilliant script and brilliant acting…”British Theatre Guide
Out Cast Theatre, Australia’s longest running gay theatre company was established in 1997 and last year took out the Adelaide Theatre Guide award for Best Comedy with Jane Austen’s Guide to Pornography. With his plays performed from Off-Broadway to back of Bourke, Australia, Steven Dawson may just be Australia’s most prolific, if not most outrageous, theatre writer.
