Adam Hills - one of Australia's most talented and best-travelled
comedians - is back on the road with his brand new show, Joymonger.
Put simply, Joymonger is an hour of what Adam Hills does best -
uplifting stand up comedy, interspersed with audience chat and moments
of improvised joy.
In his most recent Edinburgh run, Adam conducted a
gay wedding for two audience members, held an impromptu job interview
for another member of the crowd, and became a godfather to a three
month old baby in the front row. In the words of the Adelaide
Advertiser "This is what live comedy is all about - damn good fun".
2006 saw Adam's profile in Australia reach extraordinary new heights.
As host of ABC TV's ridiculously successful music quiz show Spicks
& Specks Adam's warm and generous personality has won him a growing
legion of fans across the country. The beginning of 2007 marks the
return of the third season with Adam firmly at the helm of the Spicks
and Specks ship. With nominations for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most
Outstanding New Talent and Most Popular New Male Talent at the 2006
Logie Awards under his belt 2007 is shaping up to be an even bigger
year.
There is no support, Adam will perform the
whole show.
