Created using the internationally recognised Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis (LMA) system, Roses will Get You Nowhere... is a physical theatre work that plays with the known myth/fairytale of Beauty and the Beast, messing with the audience’s prior experience with that story.
Fantastical, rich and darkly playful... a tunnelling journey of dynamic shifts from reality to fantasy. The characters of Beauty, the Beast, and the ever-present Storyteller are uprooted and challenged until they’re not sure what tale they belong in anymore.
