Jian Wang's beautiful tone colour and extraordinary musicality enthralled Perth audiences in the 2005 WASO season and he returns to delight us with a performance of Haydn's charming and virtuosic D major Cello Concerto. Chief Conductor of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Arvo Volmer, leads the orchestra in the World Premiere of Carl Vine's Seventh Symphony.
Carl Vine's Symphony No.7 is commissioned by Janet Holmes a Court and the Commonwealth Government, through the Australia Council.
