Romantic, Swashbuckling & Poetic!
Cyrano de Bergerac, Edmond Rostand’s classic tale of a nose so large it
kept a great love unrequited, is a wild and glorious poem in praise of
love and sacrifice. It is a hugely entertaining, swashbuckling,
fairytale adventure aimed straight at your heart.
In this brand new production, seven actors follow Cyrano’s lead and
defy rationality, reason and sense in favour of passion, poetry and
panache, to bring you more than 35 characters, full-blown battle
scenes, pastry-stuffed bakeries, and a horse-drawn carriage made
entirely of food!
“...Cyrano de Bergerac is beautifully written, very witty and it makes you think about what to value in life...” The Blurb, Australia
“The play appeals to the enduring hopeful adolescent in us that has grown weary of being cynical.” The New York Times
