Half & Half | If Theatre Print
Luke and Ned, two half brothers, meet again in a kitchen and garden.

An award-winning play by Daniel Keene opening up a new theatre space in Melbourne's West: The Dog Theatre in Footscray.

"In the city of the dead the living find their way... Was there a map?"

Daniel Keene's Half & Half returns to Melbourne and opens the first independent theatre space in Melbourne's West: The Dog Theatre.

VCA graduates Matt Scholten (Director) and Katherine Branch (Designer), Anthony Winnick and Brendan McCallum from VCA's Company 2007 and one of Melbourne's most respected theatre actors Matthew Molony combine forces to bring a story of masculinity, family ties, identity and crossword puzzles.
"Keene cracks the code of male communication in this compelling story of two half brothers physically separated but bound together by a shared mother and a deep longing for emotional connection. Absurd, comic and theatrical, Half and Half is a witty examination of the nature of language and the language of nature." Currency Press

"Daniel Keene is a dangerous playwright... he works right on the moral edge" Sydney Morning Herald
