The play is set in WA by an Australian author Jennifer Rogers and is about three generations of a family of five women and how they fit together and don't fit together.
A young rebellious lesbian, a fussy house-proud impulsive cleaner, a frustrated promiscuous adventuress, an authoritative matriarch and a brow-beaten granny.
The play is about personal growth, development, change and courage. It is about being an individual, about triumph of the spirit, and avoiding being sanitised, categorised and otherwise trivialised. It is about rebelling against the status quo in order to gain freedom and to retain personal identity.
