A Who's Who of Flapland & Dog Accident Print
Three Stage Actors are proud to present their inaugural production of One Act Plays.

A Who’s Who of Flapland plus Dog Accident

Directed by Sherreen Hennessy. Featuring Andrew Broderick & Clay Alexander

A Who’s Who of Flapland by David Halliwell

Two con men. One scam. A battle of wits. This classic black comedy builds to a level of madness until one man cracks. A play where the tales are tall and stakes are high. David Halliwell was a highly influential figure in the burgeoning fringe movement of the late 1960s. He pioneered the idea of lunchtime theatre and multi-viewpoint drama and left his mark on several close collaborators, including Mike Leigh, who says of Halliwell “…nobody who knew him or his wit, intelligence, or indeed his writing would disagree that he could and should have been up there with Beckett and Pinter, his two major influences”

Dog Accident by James Saunders

Two workmates witness a dog get hit by a car. With two very different points of view, there follows an argument that is so absurd it has to be seen. A play about life, death and a wimpy. James Saunder’s early plays led him to be considered one of the main British exponents of the Theatre of the Absurd.

These two absurdist comedies are a must for lovers of Beckett and Pinter.

Dates: 10–20 September, 8pm

Tickets: $20 / $25

Bookings: 0402 548 603

Venue: TAP Gallery - Level 1, 278 Palmer St , Darlinghurst
