The University of Melbourne Music Theatre Association (UMMTA) presentsSweet Charity, a book by Neil Simon and based on an original screenplay byFederico Fellini, Tullio Pinelli and Ennio Plaiano.
With music and lyrics by Cy Colemane and Dorothy Fields, Sweet Charityis a classic 1960s award-winning hilarious but tender story of an eternallyoptimistic girl unlucky in love. Produced for the Broadway Stage by Fryer, Carrand Harris and then conceived, staged and choreographed by Bob Fosse, SweetCharity is guaranteed to blow audiences away!
For the second time this year, UMMTA promises a quality night’sentertainment with numbers like Big Spender and If My Friends Could See Me Nowdirected by Artistic Director, Caitlin Adams. Sweet Charity tells the tale of agirl who wants to be loved so much she loses sight of who she is.
