In a big city, the lives of six very different people can be much closer than they realise.
Nicola and Dan are engaged and unsuccessfully hunting for their first flat. Their real estate agent, Stewart, inadvertently discovers a dark side to his seemingly virtuous secretary Charlotte. Charlotte is also the latest in a long line of carers for the invalid father of Ambrose, the bar tender at Dan's favourite watering hole. Meanwhile Stewart's shy sister Imogen is unsuccessfully playing the singles scene .
As their paths converge in a hopeless and hilarious entanglement, it becomes apparent that in life there are far less than six degrees of separation. The latest hit from prolific, multi-award winning playwright Alan Ayckbourn serves up comedy with a real twist in this tale of human foibles and everyday life.
