Linda is a Nurse. She works hard. She is married.
Serge is a bum. He carries a large blue sports bag.
To the same suburban park bench they return, at dusk, night after night, compelled by love, hope, desolation and the avoidance of responsibility - the world beyond them seems incoherent and alienating. elmo is the follow up to bunny in the Trilogy of Love Stories.
Benjamin Cittadini is a writer, director and performance artist. His most recent work at La Mama includes bunny in 2005 and untitled, as part of One Night in the Well, in 2003. Other work includes the site-specific performance project Intensive Jobmaking Assistance (Big West Festival, 2004) and the multi-artform installation Obviously . . . a Museum (Next Wave Festival, 2002). He has also had poetry and articles published in various publications as well producing the ‘zine pauseState and coordinating performance events such as Super and Spart. His current projects include the site-specific, multi-artform project Loose Connections (Frankston White Street Project), and the third part of his Trilogy of Love Stories: Little Ladybug.
