Ella Filar, Melbourne’s “Queen of Cabaret” (Inpress), is an independent writer, director, composer and performer. Her most recent Cabaret-style productions include The Leader Sheep, Changing Horses, DTension, Kontrol, Remote, The Ashes, The Mother, The Son and the Bitch and Resexing the Millennium were performed at La Mama, fortyfi vedownstairs, Playbox, Theatreworks, Chapel Off Chapel, Footscray Community Arts Centre, Dante’s, Mallacoota Festival and QDOS Galery. She was a founding member of the Women’s Theatre Group and established F.A.C.T (Footscray Adult Cabaret Theatre) and (KGB) Krows Bar Gabaret
