Two actors recreate a series of interviews of some very famous people. The result is a blurring of the distinction between the lives and thoughts of the famous and the ordinary. Using a variety of theatrical devices, some comic, some serious, the actors intrude themselves and their relationship with each other into these interviews.
But how do our meek actors make real the outrageous boasting of Gene, the towering ego of Orson, the megalomania of Margaret or the drug induced insecurity of Janis? The actors decide to make the whole experience into a sort of strange game where they flirt and play off each other, try to trip each other up and struggle for the ascendency.
