Three
mad chefs animate two Cookie Cutters and a host of familiar kitchen
utensils in a puppet extravaganza that puts the Iron Chef (and the
stand up comic) to shame. Featuring popcorn, watermelon killing and the
felling of a broccoli forest, our cooks whip up three uproarious,
mess-filled episodes BACK TO BACK!
Emerging out the Postgraduate puppetry course at the Victorian College of the Arts, the Men of Steel
are a shining example of the burgeoning independent puppetry scene in
Melbourne. Known for exquisite puppetry combined with a vicious sense
of humour that appeals to all ages, this is object theatre at its
inventive best. Don’t miss it.
