Mama starring Alinta Carroll and Eddie Staszak is a drama with music concerning a mother and daughter vaudeville duo in 1940s Sydney. This one hour play is written by Helen Brett. Threaded through the story are French songs including La Vie en Rose, made famous by Edith Piaf, and the Marlene Dietrich song, Lili Marlene. An original composition by Eddie Staszak, Waltz for Mama, also features in the production. These shows are kindly sponsored by the City of Perth.
