The award winning drama, ‘night Mother by Marsha Norman
is the third season offering from Melville Theatre Company.

Melville Theatre was acknowledged in early 2008 by the Independent Theatre Association
Finley Awards Adjudicators’ for the varied program of plays,
all produced to high standard, that they offered in 2007.
‘night Mother will carry this trend into 2008.

It is a powerful two hander in which the daughter announces
she will commit suicide later in the day
and her mother does everything possible to change her mind.

The play has been described by critics as “honest, realistic and provocative”
and it won the Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama in 1983.

Under the experienced direction of Lindsay Sedgwick,
Marsha Holt and Kylie Calwell are in rehearsal
bringing to life the characters of Mama and Jessie.

This will be unforgettable night at the theatre and bookings are recommended.
