"Seussical" is an exciting musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss. But it isn't just a setting of his stories set to music, and it isn't just one of his stories, it is a full-length book musical with a story which weaves together his most famous tales and characters in unexpected ways. "Seussical" incorporates elements from at least 15 of his books, as well as many of his best-loved and most familiar characters. The over arching plot of the show mirrors that of Horton Hears A Who!, centering on Horton the Elephant's endeavours to protect the people of Who-ville, who live on a tiny speck of dust. Many of the characters have never met one another before, but they meet in this musical! And in the course of the story, some will fall in love, some will have desperate adventures and some will save the world. They will all travel everywhere from the Jungle of Nool to McElligot's Pool to Palm Beach.
Dr. Seuss always believed in helping a friend, in not giving up, in keeping a promise. Most of all, he showed us all the pure power of the imagination. "Seussical the Musical" is a fun-filled show for all ages. DON'T MISS IT!
