Hymne ŕ Piaf | Caroline Nin Print
Caroline Nin, born in Paris, has been described as the very essence of her countrywoman Edith Piaf, France’s most famous chanteuse. As captivating and intriguing as the ‘Little Sparrow’, she is the epitome of style and class as she croons; she purrs and sings in perfect English, French and German. Her singing and theatrical presentation heightens both established torch songs and cabaret standards to a mesmerising level.

In this tribute to Piaf, Caroline’s frank, tender and moving rendition offers spine-chilling and spirited versions of familiar anthems such as ‘Non’, ‘Je Ne Regrette Rien’ and ‘Padam Padam’.

Caroline comes direct to us from headlining at the famous Lido in Paris on Saturday 14 June (her only Melbourne performance) to launch our birthday celebrations, before touring New Zealand and a season at the Sydney Opera House.

“…Piaf, I am sure, would have no regrets” – The Australian

“Every word of every song was delivered with precision and clarity, and lingered like cigarette smoke… Nin created a celebration of a city and a people with Piaf’s legacy” – dB Magazine
