Huiguang - Shaolin Kungfu is a unique theatrical production that celebrates the philosophy and skill of the martial art of Kung Fu through story line, dramatic design, choreography, and breath-taking music. Huiguang-ShaoLin Kungfu is a show that breaks the traditional kung fu moulds. Its poignant and touching story line combined with exquisite ballet and music blends the best of Kung Fu together with wonderful theatre. Winning numerous praises both overseas and locally it is again appointed in November 2007, as “Exceptional Cultural Products for Export” by China’s ministry of Culture.
Hui-Guang – Shaolin Kungfu tells an inspiring story of self-discovery and tradition. It follows the orphaned Hui Guang’s amazing experiences in the ShaoLin Temple and the many grievous challenges he must face to ultimately be reunited with his lost mother. Through Hui Guang’s ShaoLin encounters the audience is given a never-before opportunity to glimpse into the lives of ShaoLin Monks, Huiguang- Shaolin Kungfu offers a level of profoundness and intimacy rarely available in any productions of similar nature.
