The Queensland Orchestra presents the only Australian appearance of Nikolaj Znaider in 2008. Znaider, whose name is amongst the front ranks of international violin virtuosi, performs with unique incandescence in Mozart’s Third Violin Concerto. He will then exchange his bow for a baton to lead the Orchestra in the Enigma variations, including Elgar’s famous Nimrod – some of the most noble and moving English music ever composed.
