Sisters Grimm is the hardest-working queer D.I.Y. production company in Melbourne; formed in 2006 by Ash Flanders and Declan Greene to triumph trash-theatre and scream ‘EAT MY PUSSY’ at its opponents. Productions to date include the smell-out chubbtastic romp FAT CAMP (2006); epic trash-musical BUMTOWN (2007); and most recent is their high-camp thriller MOMMIE & THE MINISTER, which was rapturously received at the 2008 Adelaide Fringe (‘Brilliant kitsch-noir atrocity’ The Fix; ‘A well-wrought ripper ****’ The Advertiser). Later this year MOMMIE is headed to the U.K. for seasons in London and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
