Judith Durham with The Queensland Orchestra Print
The legendary Judith Durham, Australia’s first pop princess and the golden voice of iconic Australian band The Seekers will perform in a special one-off concert event with The Queensland Orchestra on June 28.

Judith Durham’s golden voice took The Seekers’ hits including I’ll Never Find Another You, The Carnival Is Over and Georgy Girl, to the top of the world charts, selling 53 million albums and 32 million singles worldwide – an extraordinary  achievement (full biographies available).

Managing Director of The Queensland Orchestra, Michael P. Smith said the announcement was another major coup for the orchestra and for Brisbane. “Judith Durham is music-royalty. The success she achieved with The Seekers and as a soloist was world beating and we are incredibly excited about the opportunity to perform on stage with her. This is a rare opportunity for Queenslanders to experience a very, very special concert event,” he said.

Durham will perform the classic hits from The Seekers, along with her own inspiring compositions. Full biographies, imagery and interviews available on request.
