Mods and Rockers do battle on the streets of Verona! Eagle’s Nest
Theatre and director Peita Collard are putting the SHAKE! back into
Shakespeare with their new interpretation of Romeo and Juliet. Love’s
greatest tragedy set amongst the sounds and street styles of Swinging
London circa 1966.

Arthur Miller’s chilling parable sets its action in the 1692 Salem
witch hunts but director Matt Scholten uses the tale as a powerful
allegory for events in these supposedly more enlightened times. Fear is
still sold to us by our governments, individuals are still demonised,
religion still divides and Salem’s nooses still swing for some...
