This mini-production involves poetry, snatches of 1930's Jazz and the images of New York in the 30's. Script collaborator, Adam Ousten has written a poem (after Auden) as an introduction which serves as the basis for this production, alternating the present with scenes written around Auden's life in 1939-41 when he shared a house with an eclectic group artists including Gypsy Rose Lee and Benjamin Britten.
Previous productions by Dan Graham include "Christie in Love" by Howard Brenton, "A Kind of Alaska" by Harold Pinter and "Wolf Lullaby" by Hilary Bell
